Return Policy

We want you to feel confident when ordering from Home Tone Record. If an item arrives damaged or does not match your order, please contact us with your order number and photos so we can review it quickly.

Eligible returns or exchanges

Returns or exchanges may be accepted when an item is damaged in transit, the wrong item was shipped, or the item condition is materially different from what was listed. Items should be kept in their original condition and packaging where possible.

Return window

Please report any issue within 7 days of receiving your order. Include photos of the item, parcel, and issue details so we can review the case and coordinate with the carrier when needed.

Sending items back

After we confirm that a return can be reviewed, please send the item back within 14 days. Pack it securely and keep the tracking number until the inspection process is complete.

Return shipping

If the issue was caused by our mistake or shipping damage, we will help cover return shipping as appropriate. For change-of-mind returns after delivery, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Refunds

After we receive and inspect the returned item, eligible refunds will be processed through an agreed payment channel, usually within 45 days of receiving the return. Processing time may vary depending on the payment method and bank.

Exchanges

We generally do not exchange an item for a different title, model, or version unless the issue was caused by a packing or shipping error from our side. If the same item is no longer available, we may offer a similar item, store credit, or a refund after discussing it with you.

Vinyl condition note

Records are stored carefully, but weather and transit conditions can sometimes cause slight warping. If you are unsure whether a mark or warp affects playback, please test the record first and send photos or video so we can review the issue.

Shipping claims

For damaged parcels, partial loss, or missing items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the outer box, packing material, and item so we can investigate with the carrier properly.

Liability

Replacement, store credit, or refund decisions are reviewed case by case. Any compensation will not exceed the value of the affected item in that order.
